Had a chance to test my new kit again, this time with a bit more wind than the first time I tried it. The kit combination in this wind strength worked really well, planing pretty early and turning nicely as well. There seemed to be plenty still left in the tank, so hopefully get a chance to use it again soon in stronger winds and with a few more bumps on the water just to see what its capable of - also want to check out how the board handles with smaller sails as well, particulalrly 5.8m.

Had a pleasant hour or so sailing before the water dropped too much and risked losing my fin. Best bit was that a campervan turned up just as I was packing up my kit and having had a quick chat with the couple inside who were canoeists, they kindly offered to make me a cup of tea and even had a few biscuits as well. Marvellous!
